每逢佳节被相亲：那么“相亲”英文怎么说？
每逢佳节胖三斤的担忧还没走远，很多人就要面对“每逢佳节被相亲”了，平时在外没时间，一到过节相亲档期扎堆，都快成流水化作业了。不少人觉得相亲是中国特色，其实不是，外国人也相亲，他们称之为blind date。
两个陌生人被两者的熟人牵线搭桥，进行约会，这就是相亲。
A blind date is a social engagement between two people who have not
previously met, usually arranged by a mutual acquaintance.
而之所以被称为blind date，是因为参与相亲的人从来没见过对方。而blind有“盲目接受”的意思。
不仅如此，以外国人开放的心态，他们对相亲的定义非常简单直接：
持续两个小时左右，为结婚而进行。
The date is usually two hours or less;it is meant to create a marriage.
而且相亲的关键人物是牵线人，毕竟这是个blind date，双方都没见过对方嘛~
It is the responsibility of the person who arranges the date to ensure that
they are a good match.
