在统一考试中采用different exam papers(不同试卷)是教育部新近推出大学英语考试的cheat-proof measure(防作弊措施)之一。在过去几年的大学英语考试中，曾经出现过illegally obtaining and disclosing exam contents(非法获取并泄露试题内容)、producing and selling cheating devices(制造并销售作弊设备), organized cheating(有组织作弊)以及 spreading exam-related rumors(传播考试相关谣言)等现象。
作弊者被发现后，该事件将被记入personal files(个人档案)，并且disqualified from the exam for three years(未来三年均没有资格参加考试)。
