美国佛罗里达州一家法院7月13日裁定，备受民众关注的17岁非洲裔少年特雷翁 马丁枪杀案的被告人乔治 齐默尔曼被判无罪当庭释放，同时陪审团也没有对其做出过失杀人判决。请看报道：

齐默尔曼“被判无罪”有三种表达，一个是someone is cleared of all charges，例句：She was cleared of all charges and walked out of the court right after the verdict. (她被判无罪，当庭释放。)另一个是acquittal，名词，是法院所做出的正式“无罪判决”，动词形式为someone is acquitted，如，Zimmerman is acquitted;还有一个是find someone not guilty，如：A jury found him not guilty of second-degree murder。与之意思相反的“判定有罪，证明有罪”可用to convict someone of / to declare someone guilty表示，如：He was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment (他被判谋杀罪名成立，判处终身监禁。)
