英语热词：火车票“退票”新政
为进一步方便旅客退票和改签，自2013年9月1日起，铁路部门将调整火车票退票和改签办法，实现火车票全国通退通签，同时实行火车票梯次退票方案。请看相关报道：

从9月1日起，乘客可以在中国大陆地区任何一个火车站办理火车票退票。
这里用to return tickets来表示“退票”，更常用的说法是to refund a ticket或to get a refund for a ticket，如：As I know, if you want to refund a ticket before departure long enough, say two or three days, you will not be charged, that is to say, you can get back all your money.(据我所知，如果您在出发前较长时间，比如两三天，办理退票的话，是不会收您退票费的。也就是说，您能拿回全额票款。)“车票改签”则可用ticket changing来表示，其中，“中途改签”为ticket changing in midway，“始发站改签”为ticket changing in originating station。
同时，铁路部门将实施梯次退票方案(tiered ticket refund policy)。即，票面乘车站开车前48小时以上的，退票时收取票价5%的退票费(be charged for returning/refunding a ticket);开车前24小时以上、不足48小时的，退票时收取票价10%的退票费;开车前不足24小时的，退票时收取票价20%退票费。
