A record number of men reported being sexually harassed in the workplace last year, according to the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission .
Newly released data from the EEOC showed that 15.4 percent of the 12,025 charges of sexual harassment in fiscal year 2006 were filed by men, as opposed to 11.6 percent a decade earlier.
注意啦,根据“韦氏字典”,“sexual harassment”指的是“uninvited and unwelcome verbal or physical conduct directed at a person because of his or her sex”(对男性或女性实施不受欢迎的性行为,包括身体接触或言语挑逗)。
There have been some cases of sexual harassment against women in this office.(这个办公室里曾发生过女性遭遇性骚扰的案例。)
