数万网民表示支持中国建造航母

不久前，中国国防部长梁光烈表示，目前中国是唯一没有航母的大国，但是，中国不可能永远没有航母。
Recently, Chinese Defense Minister Liang Guanglie said that China would not remain the world's only major country without an aircraft carrier.
3月20日，梁在北京接见日本防卫大臣滨田靖一时表示：“中国海军实力较弱，因此需要建造一个航母。”
"China's navy is currently rather weak, so we need to develop an aircraft carrier," Liang said during his meeting with Japanese Defense Minister Yasukazu Hamada in Beijing on March 20.
对此，网友们表示支持。新浪网上一项约2万人参与的调查显示，50.3％的网友相信，中国将在短期内建造航母。
Web users were in favor of China doing it. A sina.com.cn survey of nearly 20,000 netizens showed 50.3 percent believe China will build a carrier "very soon".
另外，44％的人表示，中国将建造航母，但需要些时间。
More than 44 percent believe China will, "definitely build one, but it will take a long time".
据悉，梁是近来正式表态中国需要航母的最高官员。
Liang was the highest-ranking official to recently declare the country's need for carriers.
在本月初的第11届全国人民代表大会上，海军上将胡彦林表示，基于安全需求，中国需要拥有自己的航母，而且每个国家都有权建造航母。
At the annual session of the 11th National People's Congress earlier this month, Admiral Hu Yanlin said that security demands required China to have its own aircraft carrier, and that any country had the right to build one.
他还说：“中国有能力建造航母，而且也应该这样做。”
"China has the capability to build aircraft carriers, and should do so," he added.
