收入分配
春节前，我国政府提出改革收入分配制度，提高居民在国民收入中的比重。而如何提高居民的收入占比，料将成为今年全国“两会”的热门话题。The premier said the country'sincome distribution system should be perfected so that all 1.3 billion Chinese could enjoy the fruit of the country's reform and opening-up drive.
温总理提到，我国必须改革收入分配制度，以便让全体13亿国民享受到国家改革开放所带来的成果。
文中的income distribution就是指“收入分配”。近些年来，居民的disposable income（可支配收入）有了大幅增长，国家也建立了minimum wage system（最低工资制度），确保人民生活。职工还要按规定缴纳income tax（个人所得税）和各项保险，因此职场人士更关心自己的after-tax income（税后收入）。
此外，我国还将转变economic growth mode（经济增长模式）、发展social undertakings（社会事业）、提高technological self-innovation（技术自我创新），加快发展emerging strategic industries（战略性新兴产业），使之尽快成为mainstay of China's economy（中国经济的中坚力量）。
