"West Ham moving to the top six with their first away win since promotion, Queens Park Rangers are left on the bottom of the table. Rangers got off to the worst possible start when Matt Jarvis scored his first goal for the Hammers after three minutes. Vaz Tê doubled that lead after 35, but no sooner had he come on as a substitute than Adel Taarabt put Queens Park Rangers back in the game with a quite wonderful shot, then one of their other substitutes Samba Diakité was sent off after collecting two quick yellow cards. Andy Carroll came on as a sub for West Ham who then regained control. Shots rained in at both ends in a breathless second half.
