英语词汇辨析:so-and-so,so-so

　　so-and-so，so-so
        　　这两个词都是口语体，在日常谈话中使用。
        　　So-and-so的意思是“某某人”，在句中作代词使用它亦可写作so and so。除了用以指人外，它也可以指物，作“某某事物”解。例：
        　　This afternoon I saw Mr.So-and-so taking a stroll in the park with his girl friend.
        　　今日下午，我看见某某先生在公园里和他的女友在散步。
        　　He asked me to do so-and-so for him.
        　　他要我为他做某某事。
        　　Never mind what so and so says.
        　　某人所云，不必介意。
        　　So-so的意思是“马马虎虎”、“不过如此”;so-so亦可分写为so so。例：
        　　“How is your grandpa these days?”——“Oh，so-so.”
        　　“最近你的祖父身体怎样?”——“嗯，马马虎虎啦。”
        　　“How's that?”——“Only so so.”
        　　“意下如何?”——“不过如此。”
