剧情简介：
一个酒鬼深信自己中了100万美元的彩票大奖，为领奖他需要踏上一段从蒙大拿到内布拉斯加的漫长旅程。他的家人都不信他中了大奖，但他却固执己见，于是和他关系不佳的儿子只能陪他一起去领奖，以免他在路上惹上不必要的麻烦。在这段旅程中，两人果然遭遇了不少麻烦，却也因此拉近了这对父子之间的关系。
