【24】口语词组：sure as hell
用于表示千真万确的，不同争辩的。通常带有一定的生气情绪在里头。
It sure as hell is not okay. 当然不可能没关系啦！
【25】口语词组：kiss your license goodbye
kiss sth. goodbye就是与某物吻别，意思是准备失去某样东西吧。带有一些的讽刺语气。
当然也可以用作kiss sb. goodbye，与某人吻别。
【26】俚语讲解：took quite a spill
take a spill是个俚语词组，就是摔了一跤、撞到路面的意思，但有点调侃的口气。
spill一词除了溢出的意思之外，还能表示摔落、暴跌等。
【27】口语用法：whole lot worse
前面的whole lot是用来修饰worse的程度，表示情况会是完全不一样的糟糕。
比较级前面的修辞还有不少，包括even、far、still等等。
【28】口语用法：Charlie
医生这里最后的一声Charlie并不只是简单的打招呼，隐藏未表述的意思则是“接着就交给你了”。生活中当我们说完话让别人接着说的时候，就可以直接叫他/她的名字，示意由其继续。
这种用法在新闻转播的过程中很常见。
