Before this class, I had studied in other teachers' classes in New Oriental School. In my mind, those teachers were extremely enthusiastic and responsible, so Alida was.
Alida was my teacher in this class. She taught us New Concept English Ⅱ. It was a wonderful experience for me to study in this class. Here are why I really loved this class and the teacher.
As usual, Alida would give us a dictation in the morning or end of the class. She examined the important points we had learnt yesterday. It was the most exciting time in the whole day. And then she helped us to review the mistakes so as to let us remember them deeply. That showed that she was responsible.
After the exam, the class started. We turned to the page, read the words. At that time, she organized a game. Usually, we counted the number one by one; the person who made the mistake led us to read the words. Not only can this part increase our English skills, but bring a great deal of happiness and fun as well. And in the rest time, she played the popular English music for us to relax, so she was attentive.
Ten minutes later, we continued to have the class. Alida's class was really interesting. She put much effort to make the PPT and taught us with her enthusiasm. One day, she wanted to teach us the meaning of 'be careful'. She acted with low voice without keeping her image of a gentle woman so that we could learn that it's also a warning.
Certainly, that wasn't the only interesting thing. When we learnt 'lay-laid-laid', she taught us a strange way to memorize. 'Lay' means lay eggs; she divided 'laid' into Chinese phonetic transcription. It became an easier way to know. I thought that was her sense of humor.
In addition, the classmates in our class were active and energetic. They played the key role in the class.
The lovely classmates plus the seraphic, attractive, responsible, attentive, enthusiastic and humorous teacher equals a fantastic class. This precious experience will become a deep impression in my mind.
