　　You're not going to chicken out, are you?

　　A person who has been found guilty of a crime and sent to prison. 囚犯
　　比如逃犯就是an escaped convict。
　　或者我们也可以用criminal record（the fact of having committed crimes in the past），犯罪记录。

　　To make somebody or something weaker, poorer, etc. by using up their or its strength, money, etc.

　　My mother's hospital expenses were slowly draining my income.
　　It was such an exhausting and draining experience.
　　drain somebody/ something of something 例如本剧里的：
　　It drains me of all my energy.
　　I felt drained of energy.

　　To help somebody learn or become familiar with something, by showing them each stage of the process in turn.
　　就是一步一步手把手教某人做某事，或者从头到尾细致的捋顺某事让对方搞清楚。例如：

　　hold on to something | hold onto something
　　To keep something for longer than usual.
　　这里这个动词短语跟anger搭配，可以翻译成"耿耿于怀"，"怒气久久不能消散"，我们主要还是记住这句至理名言"Holding on to anger is like drinking poison and expecting it to kill the other person."下次身边再有人发怒，就可以用这句洋气的话来让他消消气。

　　It refers to courage gained from intoxication with alcohol.
　　这个跟咱们的"酒壮英雄胆"感觉很像。有时候也有人叫它Dutch courage。

　　该动词短语有两个常用的意思。第一，打断对话（to interrupt a conversation），例如：
　　Before she could reply Peter jumped in with an objection.
　　此处是第二个意思，就是不多想直奔主题（to start to do something very quickly without spending a long time thinking first）。
　　有个表达跟它感觉特别像，就是cut to the chase，它的英文解释是to stop wasting time and start talking about the most important thing。

　　The bed in which somebody is dying or dies. 临终所卧之床，也表示临终之时。例如：
