For these blanks, you can either use the exact words you have just heard or write down the main points in your own words. Finally, when the passage is read for the third time, you should check what you have written.

          Section A
          11.D综合推断题。由对话中的flight可知,双方在谈论航班情况,由此推断D正确。考点毒关于stop的短语有:
          ①stopover中途停留,(尤指乘飞机旅行时)短期逗留,如:stop over in Paris for one day在巴黎停留一天。②stop by顺便拜访,如:Ask her to stop by.请她来坐坐。
          ③stop off 中途停留,中途下车,如:stop off at the bookstore on the way home回家途中在书店停留片刻。
          12.B综合推断题。女士最后说罗伯特之后开始写小说,男士接着说他自从那时起没做过别的事情,由此可知,罗伯特现在是位小说家,故选B。注意对话中的ever since意为“自从那时起”。
          考点完成时知识点拨:
          ①现在完成时表示动作从过去某一时间开始一直延续到现在或离现在不远的时间,过去完成时表示动作从过去的过去开始一直延续到过去的某个时间。
          ②完成时态中多用延续性动词,如:live,learn,lie,stay,wait等,并常和all this time,this week,this month,all night,all the mornin9,recently等时间状语以及since和for引导的时间状语连用,如:For years they have been demanding better housing and jobs.多年来他们一直要求更好的居住和工作条件。

          Passage One
          文章精要
          文章指出,到美国留学的学生,在住宿方面,一般有两种选择:住在校内的宿舍,或住在校外的公寓。文章还分别介绍了住在校内及校外的优缺点。
