当做到四级翻译这部分时，考试也进行到了接近结束的阶段，有些孩儿们不战而降了（什么你只留下5分钟做翻译？），显然在阅读部分没有很好控制时间啊摔！再次重申一下，先做深度阅读或段落匹配，如果选词填空这种分少耗时难搞的小三题型做得不太好，一定记得放到翻译之后去做，把时间留给分值大较易上手的其他正房题型哦（正直脸）。
原文：大熊猫（giant panda）是一种温顺的动物，长着独特的黑白皮毛。因其数量极少，大熊猫已被列为濒危物种。大熊猫对于世界自然基金会（WWF）有着特殊意义。自1961年该基金会成立以来，大熊猫就一直是它的徽标。大熊猫是熊科中最稀有的成员，主要生活在中国西南部的森林里。目前，世界上大约有1000只大熊猫。这些以竹为食的动物正面临许多威胁。因此，确保大熊猫的生存比以往更重要。
罗马不是一天建成的，拖延症也不是一天两天养成的，直接下手整段的翻译未免困难，还是按部就班。
首先处理障碍词汇。
温顺的（tame），不用干瞪眼，我明白大家想不出这个词，但大家知道PSY鸟叔的《尖头鳗》（Gentleman）嘛，歌名里的gentle除了表示绅士，还可以用来形容“温顺的、温和的”，如果想不出这个词还可以使用 “温和的”（mild）等近义词。
独特的（unique），想不出则可用“特别的”（special、extraordinary）或“不寻常的”（unusual）等。濒危物种（endangered species）要注意虽然此处可能用到单数但species本身就是单复数同形不要自作多情地改成specy了啊（挠墙）。但如果一时半会没想起这两个词或者完全没背过呢？不要惊慌（摆手），一定不要惊慌（再次摆手），什么叫濒危物种？不就是一种即将灭绝的动物吗？变成定语从句试试看？a kind of animal which is going to die out是不是就解决了。灵活、任性。
徽标，说白了就是“象征”（symbol）、“图标”（icon）。
熊科，可以说bear species，实在憋不出就写成“在所有种类的熊之中”（of all kinds of bears）。
面临威胁，上课时为师曾经曰过，“面临”可翻译为confront和face，“威胁”就翻译成danger，或者整个译为“在威胁之下”（under the threat）。
第二步，划分句子主干；第三步，翻译主干；第四步，添加修饰成分；最后连词成句，通顺语句。
评分时偶尔的词汇拼写错误没有太大关系（真的大丈夫哦），重点是句子结构、逻辑连接等要清楚。
大熊猫（giant panda）是一种温顺的动物，长着独特的黑白皮毛。主干为：大熊猫是一种动物，（它）长着皮毛。译为Giant panda is a kind of animal, it has fur. 添加修饰成分，再添加逻辑连接词and表示并列。Giant panda is a kind of tame animal, and it has unique black and white fur.
当然这句话的主干也可以看作：大熊猫是一种动物，后半句用with连接，写成Giant panda is a kind of tame animal with unique black and white fur.也是没有问题的。或者可以使用定语从句写成Giant panda is a kind of tame animal which has unique black and white fur.（千万别把关系代词写成who了啊啊啊人家大熊猫还没成精）。
因其数量极少，大熊猫已被列为濒危物种。主干为：大熊猫已经成为濒危物种。译为They have become an endangered species. 添加从句后译为They have become an endangered species because they are extremely few.
大熊猫对于世界自然基金会（WWF）有着特殊意义。主干为：大熊猫有意义。译为Giant panda has a meaning. 添加修饰成分，根据左短右长的规律，“对于世界自然基金会”较长，“特殊的”较短，因此“特殊的” 放在meaning左边，“对于世界自然基金会”放在meaning右边。译为Giant panda has a unique meaning to WWF. 是不是觉得有点短？没事（摸摸头），如果下一句和本句有较大的关联可以通过连接词连成一句。
自1961年该基金会成立以来，大熊猫就一直是它的徽标。主干显然是：大熊猫一直是它的徽标。译为Giant panda has been its symbol. 加上从句后变成：Giant panda has been WWF's symbol since 1961 when it was founded.
桥豆麻袋！貌似上两句有一定的关系，我们可以使用因果连接，变身！（水兵月变身画面及配乐起）：Giant panda has been WWF's symbol since 1961 when it was founded for panda has a unique meaning to WWF. 这样是不是高大上了很多呢（掩面）。
大熊猫是熊科中最稀有的成员，主要生活在中国西南部的森林里。主干是：大熊猫是一个成员，（它）生活在森林里。译为：Giant panda is a member, it lives in the forest. 添加修饰成分，左短右长，译为Giant panda is the rarest member of all kinds of bears, and it lives in the forest of the southwest of China. 或使用非限定性定语从句，译为Giant panda is the rarest member of all kinds of bears, which lives in the forest of the southwest of China.
目前，世界上大约有1000只大熊猫。这么短的句子主干不用找了直接译吧，走起：Nowadays, there are about 1000 giant pandas in the world.
这些以竹为食的动物正面临许多威胁。因此，确保大熊猫的生存比以往更重要。最后这两句很明显地有“因此”连接，可以连成一句。主干为：这些动物正面临威胁。译为These animals are facing danger. 观察后句发现其主语“确保大熊猫的生存”较长所以可用it作形式主语。添加从句和修饰成分译为These animals which feed on bamboos are facing great danger, therefore it is more important than ever before to ensure they can survive.
