Part of the aircraft wing found on Reunion Island is from the missing MH370
plane, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has confirmed.
马来西亚总理纳吉布·拉扎克确认：在留尼汪岛被找到的部分机翼是来自MH370。
Mr Najib said experts examining the debris in France had "conclusively
confirmed" it was from the aircraft.
纳吉布先生称专家检测了在法国被找到的残骸，最终确认其的确是来自那架飞机。
The Malaysia Airlines plane carrying 239 people veered off course from
Kuala Lumpur to Beijing in March 2014.
MH370在2014年3月携带239名乘客在从吉隆坡去往北京的途中偏离轨道。
The debris was found on the remote French Indian Ocean island a week ago
and was taken to Toulouse for testing.
残骸于一周后在法国一偏远的印度洋岛上被找到，随后被送往图卢兹检测。
The plane is long believed to have crashed into the southern Indian Ocean
after veering off course - though no evidence had been found despite a massive
search operation.
一直以来人们都认为这架飞机在偏离轨道之后冲入了南印度洋——尽管大规模的搜索操作后并没发现任何证据。
"It is with a very heavy heart that I must tell you that an international
team of experts has conclusively confirmed that the aircraft debris [...] is
indeed MH370," Mr Najib told reporters in Kuala Lumpur.
纳吉布先生在吉隆坡告诉记者：“我不得不怀着沉重的心情告诉你们，国际专家团队已经最终确认那片飞机残骸确实是属于MH370。”
"We now have physical evidence that [...] flight MH370 tragically ended in
the southern Indian Ocean," he added.
他补充道：“现在我们已经有实物证据表明MH370在南印度洋以悲剧收场。”
Mr Najib said he hoped the discovery "will at least bring certainty to the
families" of the victims, saying the burden they had faced was
"unspeakable".
纳吉布先生说他希望这次发现“至少能够给这些遇难者家属一个交代”——如今他们面临的重担是无法言说的。
