They may be some of the best-known cartoon kids in America - but in these
festive pictures Charlie Brown and the gang aren't kids any more.

And now, fifty years since the 1965 first airing of A Charlie Brown
Christmas, artists Larry Carlat and Maura Condrick at Purple Clover imagined
what they would like after a few more years.

As Charlie Brown goes on his search for the one real Christmas tree in
town, he is accompanied by a couple of white hairs, and Sally needs some help
from a walking stick. Even Snoopy feels the effects, with lines under his eyes
and scratchy hairs on his chin.
