我国防外火越境设“隔离带”

　　Extensive firebreaks have been made along North China's woody borderlines
with Russia and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to prevent
wildfires from spreading across borders, said the Chinese fire departments
Wednesday.
        　　消防部门本周三表示，为抵御外火烧过边界，我国已分别在北部的中俄和中朝边境线开设了大面积的森林防火隔离带。
        　　上文中的firebreak就是指“防火隔离带”，也可以用fireroad或fire line表示，是在woody
borderline(森林边境)设立一片fire control belt(防火林带)以阻止wildfire(山火)蔓延。
        　　随着技术的发展，人们对火灾的防范也在不断加强。很多建筑都会安装fireproof door(防火门)，在各个楼层配备fire
extinguisher(灭火器)，连房间里也会设置sprinkler system(消防喷淋系统)。
