　　My Hometown Tieling 我的故乡铁
        　　I live in Tieling, which is not a big city. It has a population of around 300,000. It's 200 kilometres from Shenyang. Of course it isn't as interesting as Shenyang, but the air is a lot cleaner and better. There is little pollution here. There are a few factories in Tieling, but not many.
        　　My father used to work in a factory, but it was shut down a year ago and he lost his job. Because the town is full of visitors now, my father has decided to poen a small shop to sell gifts. But he is short of money. He hopes that he can borrow some money from the bank.

        　　我住在铁岭，那不是一座大城市。它约有30万人口，离沈阳200公里。当然它不像沈阳那样有趣，可是那里的空气更清新，更好。这里没什么污染，铁岭有几家工厂，可是不多。
        　　我爸爸过去在一家工厂工作，可是一年前工厂倒闭，他失去了工作。因为城镇现在游客很多，爸爸决定开一家卖礼品的小商店，可是资金不足。他希望能从银行贷点款。
