The financial statements of five Chinese universities exceeded 10 billion
yuan ($1.5 billion) in 2016, including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University,
Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Fudan University, Beijing
Youth Daily reported on Aug. 10.
8月10日据《北京青年报》报道称，2016年包括清华、浙大、北大、上交和复旦在内的5所名校财务报表总额均超过了100亿元人民币(约合15亿美元)。
A total of 75 universities directly under the educational administration of
China’s Ministry of Education on Wednesday published their annual financial
reports for the fiscal year of 2016. Tsinghua ranked first, with an endowment of
over 21.8 billion yuan in fiscal 2016, the only university in China with more
than 20 billion yuan.
本周二，教育部直属75所高校公布了他们2016财年的财务报告。其中清华位居第一，2016财年各种款项共计达到了218亿人民币——是中国唯一一所超过200亿的高校。
Tsinghua expenditures reached 13.7 billion yuan last year, making it the
top-spending university in China. Expenditures for more than half of the 75
universities was kept under 3 billion yuan.
清华的开支则达到了137亿元人民币，成为了中国花销最大的高校。在公布财报的75所高校中，超过一半都少于30亿人民币。
Tsinghua also set a new record for alumni giving with 2.5 billion yuan in
donations.
清华还创下了校友捐赠金额达到25亿人民币的记录。
Sixty of the universities experienced growth in terms of expenditures and
alumni giving. In addition, the budgets of Peking University, Beijing University
of Chemical Technology, China Central Academy of Fine Arts, and Beijing Forestry
University increased by more than 15 percent.
60所大学的开支和校友捐赠金额都有所增长。此外，北大、北京化工大学、中央美术学院、以及北京林业大学的预算都增长了15%以上。 |
