　　1. 解词释义
　　Sell sb. on one’s idea是美国俚语，意思是“说服某人”。它源于have got sb. sold on sth.这个短语，字面意思是“成功地把某物推销给某人”，引申义为“说服某人”。
　　2. 拓展例句
　　e.g. Doctors tries to sell men on his idea that smokers should kick the habit of smoking.
　　医生尽力说服吸烟者戒烟。
