        To confuse means to mix up, or to be unclear. What is confusing? Who is confused? What will be the outcome?

        范例1：
        The staff member unloading grocery walked out of the kitchen and saw the box and crate placed at the doorway. For the briefest moment, a confused expression was on his face, as if wondering how the items got there. There was no need to ponder further, when he decided to bring these things into the kitchen first before heading back out to the truck to get the rest of the delivery. After seeing the staff member carry the box and crate into the kitchen, Doug promptly headed towards the manager's office.
