Few jobs look cooler on a business card than "Official White House Photographer." But that's precisely the job ofPete Souza, the man who's spent the last eight years documenting Barack Obama's two terms in The Oval Office.还有什么比能在名片上写“白宫正式摄影师”更炫酷的职业了呢？这正是皮特·苏扎的工作。他用照片记录奥巴马在美国总统办公室连续两任的点点滴滴已有八年之久。
"When you add up (the president's) day, and all the things that I photograph, I take a lot of pictures," said the photographer in a short interview for BBC Newsnight.“如果加上总统日以及所有我拍的那些照片的话，我真的已经拍了不少了。”这位摄影师在BBC晚间新闻的一个简短的采访中说道。
Souza, who was also Ronald Reagan's official photographer from 1983 to 1989, actually took his first pictures of Obama back in 2005. “He’s walking around Red Square, he’s on a sidewalk, and nobody knows who he is," said the photographer. Just four years later however, Obama was elected as the 44th President of the United States.苏扎也是1983年至1989年间任职总统的罗纳德·里根的摄影师。其实他在2005年，就首次为奥巴马总统拍摄过照片。“他在红场四下走动，走在人行道上，没有人知道他是谁。”这位摄影师说道。然而仅仅四年之后，奥巴马便竞选成为了第44任美国总统。
