He already recognized some matching figures from the first half of the budget document, all thanks to the diligent neuroscientist. Now that the grand picture was coming together nicely, Doug was even more motivated. He wondered again briefly about the motivation of the scientist for wanting to dig through the archive to find information on an abandoned project. Doug did not see him as an enemy, not yet. As the janitor, he could easily keep tabs on what the neuroscientist was doing. He could make up his mind when he had more to go on.
