　　题目：In some countries around the world men and women are having children late in life. What are the reasons for this development? What are the effects on society and family life?
        　　It is a common phenomenon that couples in contemporary society prepare much longer term when they are ready to give birth. The reasons for the issue are related to both family and society, so are the effects.
        　　When it comes to the having children late in life, two aspects should be listed as follows: for one thing, the pressing pressure and the rat race force people to reconsider their critical business such as getting marriage and giving birth prudently by weighting their time schedule and financing situation. This is to say, with less disposable income, but higher living costs, it would be impossible for couples to plan to have children, even if they were willing to do. For another thing, the advance of technology in medical care, the life span of human beings becomes longerthan ever before. A study conducted by Stanford University in 2008 reveals that the average age of US citizens had prolonged 4.3 years in the 20thCentury. As a result, people would like to delay every stage in their lifecycle, including giving birth and etc. In return, they may enjoy their more private life or spend more valuable time on their dreams.
        　　However, the consequence of late delivery cannot be neglected at the same time. On the one hand, the whole community is going to suffer from the lack of youth labor force in the foreseeable future. With the late birth among couples, every generation will have fewer people naturally. On the other hand, the family will experience the supposed generation gap, because of the vast age margin between fathers and sons. The worse is that the generational argument will give rise to the isolation and alienation of relatives.
        　　In conclusion, the late birth is an unstoppable trend for most modern couples, so the whole society should be better prepared for this dramatic change, and it is worthy to remind that the phenomenon is a suspicion of population aging in the next 40 to 50 years.
