40. Theexpression "Never, never give up" means to keep trying and never stopworking for your goals. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Usespecific reasons and examples to support your answer.

        Topic 40 Never, never giveup
Continuous exertion may sound very exhausting and thus,it is understandable even if some people suggest it should be better to give upsometimes. It is true at some points because the human race is not almightycreature. However I would say it is not about giving up, but just changing agoal. Recognizing life events as a sequence, I think even when giving upsomething, it is just adjusting the goal to more reachable level and processesfor previous goals always play a role in reaching next goal.
In the first place, I would like to emphasize that thisis not only about the youth becoming competent, but also about all the peoplemaking their own lives more comfortable and enjoyable. For instance, bothfollowing examples I present can be seen as continuous exertion: a young persontrying to become a professional musician and a person on the verge of deathexercising hands in order to move them better than the previous day. If their goalsare too high for them, the young person may have to change it to be working ina related field such as becoming a commentator, a voice trainer or so, and thedying person may have to change it to exercise fingers instead of hands. Thatis, people naturally keep trying in any case until the last minute they acceptdeath.
Furthermore, there are also two advantages of indomitableattitudes. Firstly, some different approaches to a goal are necessary, otherthan blind efforts. Such a contrivance activates brain and makes human beingsmore alive. I do not think it is exaggerative(夸张的)to say.
Secondly, this attitude is also important when trying to achievesomething extraordinary, because chances and right ideas do not always lie alltogether. Other chances and ideas never show up if it is given up. Totallydifferent idea or better chances sometimes appear after groping in the dark.
There is no doubt about favorable influencesof continuous exertion. Whether agree or disagree with the statement of thistopic, people keep trying by nature and it does make us alive. When I have noenergy left to keep trying, I simply keep it on my mind so as not to miss any possibilities. In other words, it is possible to keep trying even when feeling like giving up.
