　　唐装(Tang suit)广义上是指西式裁剪的满族（Manchu)服饰，而不是唐朝的服装。它吸取了满清服饰的款式和面料，同时采用了西方服装的立体式剪裁 (three-dimensionalcutting)。国内所称的“唐装”，基本上是清末的中式着装。唐装其实是中式服装的统称，这主要是因为国外都称华人居住的地方为“唐人街”，那 “唐人”穿的衣服自然就应该叫“唐装”了。另外，国外的一些华人也称中式服装为 “唐装”，所以唐装的取名颇有国际化的味道。
