A Letter of Suggestion to the President
Dear president, As a student of this university, I feel that it would be
beneficial to express my views concerning the quality of the library service and
unveil some of the existing problems in the library.
In the first place, we often exhaust our patience to look for books and
journals related to our major on the shelves crammed with outdated shabby
books.
Secondly, we all suffer the dim light and the absence of air conditioner in
the reading room.
Worse still, the search engine in the library system often skips some
valuable materials
and most keyboards of the library computers are in poor operation, which
brings much inconvenience to the users.
Here are some feasible suggestions for your reference.
First of all, the library needs to improve its efficiency of purchasing new
books and subscribing to academic journals.
On the other hand, the study rooms may be furnished with a better lighting
system.
Last but not least, I would recommend the library system should be updated
and the keyboards should be replaced with new ones.
I hope that you take my suggestions into serious consideration and make
reforms in the library, so the library may take a new look as soon as
possible.
