Lorde（原名：Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor），1996年11月7日出生于新西兰奥克兰德文波特，新西兰创作型女歌手。
2008年在奥克兰北岸学校表演时被星探发掘，开始创作生涯。2012年11月发行第一首单曲《The Love Club》出道。2013年9月30日发行个人首张音乐专辑《Pure Heroine》，歌曲《Royals》连续九周登上公告牌Hot100单曲榜冠军。2014年凭借歌曲《Royals》获得第56届格莱美奖”年度最佳歌曲”与”最佳流行歌手“奖；同年获得第34届全英音乐奖“最佳国际女艺人”奖；在2014美国公告牌音乐奖中，Lorde凭借专辑《Pure Heroine》与歌曲《Royals》入围“最佳摇滚艺人”、“最佳摇滚专辑”、“最佳Hot 100单曲”和“最佳下载单曲”等在内的十二项提名[1] ，并获得“最佳新人”与“最佳摇滚歌曲”两个奖项
