　　1.它的理论基于中国古典哲学，而技巧则包括各种形式的较量:拳的较量、武器的较量以及徒手较量:“基于”可译为isbased on,该句的翻译难点是“较量”这个词，在句中出现了多次，可译为fight或combat,所以“各种形式的较量”可译为various forms of fighting，“拳的较量”译为fistfights,“武器的较量” 译为weapon fights, “徒手较量”可译为unarmed combats。
　　2.它可以用来治疗疾病，也可以用来自卫:“治疗疾病”可译为cure illness，cure意为“治愈”;“自卫”可译为self-defense。“cure illness”和“self-defense”可用词组as well as连接，as well as意为“也”，这个词组可给句子增色不少。
