　　为了缓解大批学生同时毕业带来的就业压力，北京市教育局正在考虑按学分收取学费，提前修完学分、拿到学位的学生可以先毕业。
        　　Beijing's university students will be able to move at their own pace on the road to their degrees, taking between three and six years to graduate, if the city moves forward as expected with a more flexible credit system.
        　　如果北京市能够如期推出更加灵活的学分制体系，本市的大学生就能够自主掌握学习进度，可以在三年到六年的时间内毕业并拿到学位。
        　　在上面的报道中，credit system就是“学分制”。Credit在这里的意思是“学分”，有时候也会用credit hour来表示“学分”这个概念。改革后的体制中将可能会charge tuition according to credit hours of education(按学分收取学费)，这样学生就可以自主安排学习进度了。
        　　Credit更常见的意思是“信用”，比如，目前有专门的credit investigation system(征信制度)，为企业和个人建立credit file(信用档案)，并依法对外提供credit report(信用报告)。在经济领域，金融机构会根据经济形势采取credit contraction(信用紧缩)或credit expansion(信用扩张)政策。不过，信用扩张在被滥用的情况下可能会导致credit inflation(信用膨胀)，而信用紧缩过度也可能会导致credit crisis(信贷危机)。
