英语新词：微软“收购”诺基亚

　　北京时间9月3日上午，微软宣布，将以72亿美元收购诺基亚手机业务，以及大批专利组合。

        　　Microsoft Corp on Tuesday said it would buyNokia's mobile phone business for 5.44 billion euros , and the Finnish firm said its CEO, Stephen Elop, would join Microsoft when the transaction closed.
        　　微软集团于周二宣布，将以54.4亿欧元(72亿美元)的总价收购诺基亚的手机业务，诺基亚方面表示，公司现任首席执行官史蒂芬 埃洛普将在收购完成后加入微软。
        　　中常用buy、purchase以及acquire来表示“收购”，常用的名词表达为acquisition，如：The acquisition of this company is a wise decision(收购这家公司是明智之举)。我们常说的企业“并购”就可以用merger and acquisition来表示。另外，acquisition也表示“获得，获得(物)”，如，acquisition of basic skills(掌握基本技能)，a valuable acquisition to the team(团队中新来的得力成员)等。
        　　即将在未来12个月内离职的微软CEO表示，此次收购是向未来迈出的大胆的一步(a bold step)，对员工、股东以及双方公司的消费者来说都是双赢(a win-win)。除手机业务(handset/mobile phone business)之外，微软还将收购诺基亚大批专利组合(a broad portfolio of patents)。
        　　2007年，诺基亚在手机市场的份额(share of the handset market)为40%，如今只有15%，而智能手机份额仅为3%。
