　　第61届美国电视艾美奖主办方8月12日宣布，9月20日进行的第61届艾美奖颁奖典礼所有奖项均现场直播，以平息之前预录部分奖项导致部分人士的不满。
　　A total of 28 Primetime Emmy Awards, especially those involving made-for-television movies and miniseries that were previously excluded from the live broadcast, will be presented live by CBS television during the Sept. 20 event, according to a report on the Dailynews website.

　　艾美奖是美国电视界的权威奖项，为什么要为电影颁奖呢?原来这个made-for-television movie(电视电影)是a feature film that is produced for and originally distributed by a television network(为电视制作，最初也在电视上播放的电影长片)，也被称为telemovie或者telefilm。文中的miniseries也被称为“迷你剧”，指的是篇幅较短的电视剧。
　　在prime-time slot(黄金时段)播出的long-running television series(长篇连续剧)通常television ratings(收视率)较高，而一些观众则喜欢看documentary film(纪录片)。一些企业还会制作television special(专题片)来宣传企业形象。
