　　法国和荷兰分别在日前举行的全民公决中否决了《欧盟宪法条约》，这引起了包括土耳其在内的一些国家对欧盟扩大进程的担忧。

　　据悉，荷兰否决《欧盟宪法条约》的原因之一是，他们担心“文化异类”土耳其的入盟将给荷兰带来噩梦。因为土耳其人口更多，可能在政治影响力方面超过荷兰。希腊外长莫利维亚蒂斯2日公开表示，希腊支持欧盟的扩大进程。土耳其在满足了所有条件后也应成为欧盟成员国，但这个过程可能至少需要10年的时间。
