　　上周三，国际足联主席塞普·布拉特暗示，中国有可能加入到竞争2018年世界杯申办权的行列。不过，他同时表示，他希望能在2014年后继续延用世界杯在非洲、亚洲、欧洲、中北美和加勒比海地区、南美洲轮流举办的原则。如果这样，2018年世界杯举办地应该不是在亚洲。
　　FIFA president Sepp Blatter sparked speculation that China could be in line to host that year in comments on Wednesday, when he said the United States was in pole position but that China could not be ruled out.
　　But he said he wanted to extend the current geographical rotation system beyond 2014. If FIFA stuck to its rotation policy for hosting the event, it would not be Asia's turn in 2018.
