　　Six Hong Kong teenagers suffered heatstroke when hiking on Tuesday and had to be taken to hospitals by helicopters.
　　The group of seven began hiking in the New Territories, about 11 am. After four hours, six of them started to feel dizzy and were unable to walk. Firemen arrived after receiving a call for help. A helicopter was summoned to take them to hospitals because the area was inaccessible to vehicles.
　　报道说，上周二，有6名中学生徒步旅行新界时，因高温而中暑。
　　由报道可知，“中暑”相应的英文表达为“heatstroke”。若“中暑”是受阳光直接爆晒而引起，也可表达为“sunstroke”。
　　此外，日常生活中，我们更宜接触“轻度中暑”，其相应的英文表达为“heat exhaustion ”或“heat prostration”(直译：因受热而引起虚脱)。与“heatstroke/sunstroke”相比，“heat exhaustion/heat prostration”一般不会引起生命危险。
　　另外，日常会话中，若想表达“热得难受”、“热得喘不过气”，可用“swelter”一词，如：Open the window. It's sweltering today.(打开窗子，今天热得要命。)
