In the first place, the scent of the cologne was very faint in his office. The scented liquid was not sprayed around the room; the glass bottle was just sitting on the shelf with the lid loosely placed on top, allowing for evaporation at a slow pace. Secondly, Shawn was used to the smell, so most of the time, he barely noticed it. It was only when he had been away from his office for a long while that he would be more aware of the scent when he stepped back into his office.
