        话题：

        Log can refer to chopped wood or a record. What is the log used for? Who is using it?

        1) maintenance workers logged the times when they serviced the machine
        2) computer servers log all access to the system
        3) logs floated down the river in a logging community
        4) investigators checking the log to see who had visited the building

        After proceeding with utmost precaution to erase his trail, he made sure all the access log entries were clean and all firewalls were rebuilt, leaving no trace behind. He was exhausted when he got back. The only plan he had was to sleep first, and then work on the file he found. He could not wait to see what information he could discover. He was ready to go to bed when a knock on the door interrupted him. His partner had chosen, of all times, to drop off his side of the work, his uncompleted work, before heading over to the party.
