        Courtesy means respectful manners and social behaviors. What are some examples of common courtesy people expect from each other in society? Do these acts change depending on different cultures or values?

        2) giving one's seat on the bus for others as an act of courtesy

        The more he thought about it, the more annoyed he felt. He did not mind covering for his partner, but at least he could do shown some courtesy. A gesture of appreciation would be nice, even if it was only a slice of pizza with a drink. But did he get any? Well, no. He barely got any sleep over the past few days as he was digging through the massive database in an attempt to locate the second half of the budget file. He was ecstatic when the prize was finally found.
