Wolfe followed the line of sight of the housemate and saw that his friend was looking at the faint scar on his forearm. “It doesn't hurt anymore,” Wolfe answered his friend's unasked question. “The doctor gave me an ointment to help with fading the scar,” Wolfe said while pointing to the medication on the desk. The housemate picked up the ointment and slid his chair closer to the bed. While Wolfe continued eating, he started applying the ointment to the scar on Wolfe's arm. After having done the job, the friend suddenly leaned in close to Wolfe and closed his eyes. Wolfe stared at his friend.
