When browsing my Qzone several days ago I saw this sentence from my foreign teacher. It is that watching a movie is a party, a social event and reading a book is a love affair between one reader and one writer. I cannot agree more. As for me, I do not enjoy going to the cinema and in fact I went to the cinema just a few times. Besides, when I watch movies on my laptop, I always cannot help pushing the fast-forward button and the main reason is that there are not so many good movies which can catch my eyes from the beginning to the end.
I do enjoy reading mainly because of the writer’s great ability of language and interesting mind. It is not watching movies but reading books that makes my fickle mind calm down and do some real thinking. It is a pity that there is so little time left for reading after I started working.
