Recently news about abnormal weather like unusual flood in Shenzhen and heavy snow in Gansu Province hits the headline. At the very beginning, I really felt so shocked that I thought it was unbelievable. After I have seen so much report about abnormal weather across China, especially experienced once last year, urgent attention needs calling for to our living environment which is deteriorating day by day. In last year’s summer, unusual high heat hit Zhejiang Province, which last an abnormally long period about one and a half months. It forced me to spend almost all my summer holiday in rooms where AC works. Also it was responsible for great economic loss even some cases of death due to serious heat stroke (热射病). An ever-increasing number of news about abnormal weather is a resounding warning bell to each and every of us who have only one habitat to take action right now. Many hands make light work and joint effort is a must to protect our home.
范例2：
Recently, it is not rare to find out that heavy rain or storms are hitting massive territories across southern China. Two days ago, Shenzhen of South China’s Guangdong province received a rainfall of more than 100 millimeters within three hours. From the pictures posted online, pedestrians waded through rainwater slowly and many vehicles even stranded in flooded roads. One reason can be attributed to the seasonal rains, which often occurred nationwide. However, constant extreme weather and fragile environment system are mostly due to the destruction by ourselves. People nowadays are blindly in pursuit of profits, regardless of its negative influence on the environment. In this condition, it is urgent for all of us to pay attention to this, which is closely related to us.
