        沪江英乐：B.o.B原名Bobby Ray Simmons(小鲍比·雷·西蒙斯)，生于1988年11月15日美国佐治亚州，更为人所知的是他的艺名B.o.B。美国说唱歌手、创作歌手及音乐制作人。音乐类型是嘻哈、另类嘻哈。演奏乐器吉他。出道地点是美国佐治亚州迪凯特(Decatur)。他目前是GrandHustle唱片公司、大西洋唱片公司和Rebel Rock旗下的签约艺人。他的艺名最初来自OutKast组合的歌曲《B.O.B.》（“Bombs overBaghdad”的缩写，意为巴格达上空的炸弹）。B.o.B已经在国际上获得了巨大成功，最初的两支单曲《Nothin' on You》和《Airplanes》都登上了英国排行榜头名，同时《Nothin' on You》也在美国摘得桂冠。两支单曲均收录于他的首张专辑《B.o.B Presents:The Adventures of Bobby Ray》，该专辑目前位列2010年最畅销的六张嘻哈专辑之一。
        B.o.B凭借他和BrunoMars合作的出道单曲《Nothin' On You》挤下了连续5个星期排名第一的蕾哈娜，顺利拿下冠军。也让他成为10月以来第四位以首支上榜单曲就拿下全美单曲榜冠军的男歌手。之前的三位分别是英国的Jay Sean、Jason Derulo以及制作人Taio Cruz。而在此之前，自2005年11月到2006年4月，四位男歌手克里斯·布朗、James Blunt(詹姆斯·布朗特)、NE-YO、丹尼尔·波特分别凭借他们的出道单曲登顶过全美单曲榜。 　　
        B.o.B同时凭借另外一首歌，和当红流行摇滚乐团Paramore主音HayleyWilliams合作的单曲《Airplanes》，首周上榜就成功打入第1位，也成为该周的“最热新曲”。他的另一首单曲《Bet I》打入全美单曲榜。
