        剧情简介：
       
        故事讲述一种神秘的外星生物袭击地球，阿汤哥饰演的中校比尔·凯奇首次出战就战死，却由于某种不明原因重获生命，回到出战前的那天早晨。这种奇怪的现象不断重复，把他卷入诡异的时间轮回，每一天他都在重复着战斗再死亡的过程。就在第158次遭遇这个诡异循环的时候，他在战场上遇到了女战士丽塔（艾米莉·布朗特 饰），她让他在下次“复活”后去找他，而这个女人究竟会成为他摆脱轮回的关键呢，还是会带他走向最终的死亡呢？
        In the beginning of the story, Cage (Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himselfinexplicably thrown into a time loop forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again and again. But with each battle, Cage becomes able to engage the adversaries with increasing skill, alongside Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Blunt). And, as Cage and Rita take the fight to the aliens, each repeated encounter gets them one step closer to defeating the enemy.
