        Today we get our first look at Steve McQueen’s 12 Years A Slave. Based on a true story, the film is said to be more brutal than his previous two efforts, Shame and Hunger. Considering that both of those, while excellent, were extremely tough watches, I cannot even imagine what McQueen has in store for us with his upcoming flick.由英国黑人导演史蒂夫·麦奎因执导的电影《为奴十二年》日前首次曝光剧照。这部影片根据真实故事改编，据说比麦奎因之前执导的《耻辱》和《饥饿》更加残忍无情。考虑到前两部优秀作品已经让人不忍目睹，很难想象此次麦奎因将带给我们怎样的震撼。

        A slave drama set in the deep south, those who have seen it describe the film as “Django Unchained without the comedy.” It stars Chiwetel Ejiofor as Solomon Northup, “a free man tricked, captured and sold into slavery in the film based off of Northup’s autobiography.” Supporting Ejiofor are Benedict Cumberbatch, Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt and Paul Giamatti, among others.
