"Suits" is finally going to welcome a star athlete to the show: Michael Phelps, the holder of a record number of medals for Olympic swimming, will guest-star on the legal show in the second half of Season 3.
It seems that Phelps will play himself as a new client of the central law firm. But it's not the sports-enthusiast lawyer you think who will be representing the swimmer.
No, Phelps will not be Harvey Specter's client. Instead, the swimmer will be a client that Scottie tries to land at the firm. Will her efforts impress Harvey -- and impress him enough to give this one-time love interest another chance -- or will he just be irritated that a sports star got away from him?
Michael Phelps' inclusion on "Suits" stems in great part from the fact that the swimmer recently declared the USA drama to be his favorite TV show.
The "Suits" midseason finale airs Sept. 17, while the final episodes of Season 3 are expected at some point in the winter of 2014.
