In other casting news, the show's make-up department head Jennifer Turchi tweeted news that two familiar faces would be returning: Ray Wise as Robin's dad and Rachel Bilson as Ted's former student. CBS would not confirm their returns, but co-creator Carter Bays did tell TVGuide.com that someone from Ted's past will have a "big influence on his search for the mother."
