blush侧重因羞愧或尴尬而突然脸红。
flush强调因愤怒、高兴、羞愧、发烧或酗酒等引起的脸红。类似的同义词还有redden由于羞愧、愤怒、天气热等使脸变红。 华丽辞藻
upstanding a.诚实的;正直的;挺拔的;强健的

respite n.休息(时间), 暂时的缓解或轻松
