1.
Ben-Listen, could I... ask you something? Will you marry me?

Ben-A simple "yes" would do.
Amy-You know?
Ben-I know that I love you.
Amy-You know... about me?
Ben-Uh, I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I know that I love you and I wanna marry you.
Amy-Why did this all have to happen to me?
Ben-Well, I know you could have fallen in love with someone who's more deserving, but I'm not that bad. Don't cry.
2.As far as Ricky and the whole rest of the world is concerned, that's my baby and that you're my wife.
——as far as…be concerned
——that’s my baby and that you’re my wife 这是一个由that is引导的有两个表语的主系表结构的句子。
3.I deserve that fake smile.
4.I... I don't understand the rules. I don't understand why they have rules. I don't understand why guys put on a bunch of pads and smack into each other just to get a ball around a field.
——a bunch of pads A bunch of 很常用,例如a bunch of friends
5.Look, you know how you always wanna be treated older? Like an adult? Well, now... now's a good time to grow up a little bit and realize that things don't always work out like you want them to.
——work out可以解决
6.
-I'm not asking for your permission or your opinion. I'm just letting you know.
-Fine. As long as he doesn't stay here while you're gone...'cause if he is, I'm staying somewhere else.
because he is省略了 here,如果要和前句更加对仗,可以用if he does (stay here),因为前句是说 as long as he doesn’t stay here。
7.People lie. They tell lies to make life more interesting when the truth would probably be more interesting than the lie.

8.
- Everyone has their ownversions of the truth..
-Still, there's only one truth, and no matter what story you tell.
10. it's a valid choice considering her age and the father.
11.Divorce, abortion. What's next? this is not what I wanted my high-school experience to be.
12. It's really good to have goals. It's even better to plan out the steps along the way to reach those goals. I just want you to know that sometimes there are missteps. Sometimes obstacles get in the way. And when that happens, when you hit a bump in the road, what I'm here for -to help you navigate.
——steps along the way to reach those goals达到目标之路上的每一步
——misstep 失足
——get in the way妨碍阻碍
比如 a bump in the road 就是路上的一个突出物,等你hit 了它,就是撞击到它,就会摔跟头。
13.
-Is it yours?
-Is what mine?
14. Just stared at the moon. Seemed like the perfect place to run away to, place where I could eat freeze-dried ice cream and drink Tang. Bounce around all day. There was no place on earth far enough away from whatever was bothering me.
I just stared/ it seemed like等,两个place 是排比修辞, 不是省略。
