　　1. 表示“在入口处”，通常用介词 at;表示“……的入口”，通常用介词 to, 有时也用介词 of。如：
        　　Where is the entrance to the park, please? 请问公园的入口在什么地方?
        　　All entrances to the city are guarded by the police. 进城的所有入口都有警察守卫。
        　　The entrance of the hall is on your right. 大厅的入口在你右边。
        　　一般说来，用介词 to 多用来指方向，即指“通向”，用介词 of多用来指位置(但不绝对，总的说来，用 to 的情形较多)。比较：
        　　There is a front and a back entrance to the theatre. 这家剧院有一个前门和一个后门。
        　　I met her at the front entrance of the theatre. 我在剧院的前门口遇见了她。
        　　2. 表示准许进入某场所、某组织、某机构等(此时的 entrance是不可数名词)，通常只用介词 to。如：
        　　They were refused entrance to the club. 他们被拒于俱乐部门外。
        　　Entrance to the exhibit is on weekdays only. 只有在周日才能参观本展览。
